They were staring at each other for a while. Suddenly Mr. Cat broke the silence.

“I assume that this is my dream. Why are you here?”

Mrs. K. smiled sadly.

“You know the reason.”

Mr. Cat snorted with contempt.  Mrs. K. abashed by his reaction spoke quietly.

“Och, believe me. I did not mean to bother you all this time… It was not me. It was her who wanted to use you. Please forgive me.”

Mr. Cat looked her in the eyes. He felt strange.

“I… I forgive you.”
